Todmorden Hippodrome invites you, if you dare, to a theatrical experience like no other: A brand new blood-spattered adaptation of George A. Romero's 1968 horror classic, Night of the Living Dead, breathtakingly retold for the stage.
Expect thrills, chills, jumps, and of course lots and lots of zombies...

Auditions Announced
Calling all actors and zombies! We’re casting for our latest production… Night of the Living Dead.
We’re looking for adult actors of all ages, backgrounds and experience to play a range of roles, from flesh-eating ghouls, to heroic survivors, and more.

Audition Process
Informal Get-together and readthrough Wednesday 19th February, 7pm @ The Hippodrome
Auditions Saturday 22nd February, 1pm @ The Hippodrome
The audition process will have two parts. An informal read-through open to anyone and then an audition day for those who decide they would like to audition for the production.
Please join us on Wednesday 19th February at 7pm in the Hippodrome Foyer for a fun, social read through of this brand new adaptation. The read through is open to anyone 18 or over who is interested in the production. It gives you a chance to meet the production team and find out more about their vision. The bar will be open for refreshments and there is no pressure or commitment needed to attend this.
The audition is for those who ten wish to get involved on stage with the show. We encourage adults of all ages, backgrounds and experience to take part. TAODS always holds open auditions for their production so whether you are a regular or a new comer you will be welcome to come along. Should you be successful, you would need to become a member of TAODS if you aren't already. The auditions are on Saturday 22nd February at 1pm at the Hippodrome.
