T.A.O.D.S. Productions in the 2017 / 2018 Season Announced:

29th & 30th September 2017 - Wyrd Sisters

T.A.O.D.S. Foyer Productions return with another script-in-hand radio play. This time it is the hilarious Terry Pratchett® classic Wyrd Sisters, dramatized by Vince Foxall for BBC Radio 4. A must-see for all Pratchett fans and would-be witches.  

Expect a large cast, live sound effects, ghosts, murders and, of course, broomsticks. For further information click on the picture.

24th to 28th October 2017 - Oliver!

T.A.O.D.S. Hippodrome Youth Theatre (HYT) present the world famous musical Oliver! with music and lyrics by Lionel Bart, based on the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. Filled with great songs such as Food, Glorious Food, You've Got to Pick a Pocket or Two and Oom-Pah-Pah and the winner of eight awards on both sides of the Atlantic. A Full cast of talented teenagers and directed by Martin Cook.

29th November to 2nd December 2017 - Blithe Spirit

Noël Coward's most famous farce was first produced on stage in 1941 during an air-raid. This comedy of contacting the other side is designed to bring the house down - quite literally!  

T.A.O.D.S. Production is presented on the main stage of the Hippodrome Theatre and directed by Richard Holley.

14th to 17th February 2018 - The Memory of Water

T.A.O.D.S. present this dark comedy drama by Shelagh Stephenson. Three sisters meet following the death of their mother and recall stories of their lives. Yet, each has a different memory of the same events, and while they search for a unifying experience, maybe they reveal more about themselves than they intend ... 

This production will be directed by Matt Parker. Further information to follow.   

20th to 23rd June 2018 - A T.A.O.D.S. Shakespeare Production

It will have been two-and-a-half-years since T.A.O.D.S. presented A Midsummer Night's Dream, the first Shakespeare play to be produced at the Hippodrome in 50 years. It was a risk, whether we would find the actors to tackle it and whether we would find an audience to watch it. We needn't have worried. It was a huge success and demanded a follow-up.So, with director Liz Holland once more taking the reigns, we will announce which play T.A.O.D.S. will be tackling along with further information to follow.
